Secure Shopping
A secure website is one which uses a method of encryption
to transfer data between websites and servers.
The Organiser Shop has a combination of unsecured web pages
- pages that are used for general browsing and secure web pages - pages that be
used to transmit sensitive information such as credit card details or personal
information. This done via the use of a SSL (Secure Socket Layer). SSL
Transaction - standard protocol for transaction security - is an encrypted link
between your Server and your Customer's browser. Once the link is established
all communication between your Server and your Customer's browser will remain
confidential. You can always check at the status bar of your browser or in the
'URL bar' if you have entered a secure section of our website.
If you see a web address in the 'URL bar' of
your browser that starts with https, you know that whatever data you enter in
to page (eg. Credit card details on a form) will be transferred securely to our
server. A padlock symbol is also used in some browsers to indicate that you are
viewing a secure page.
Depeding on how your browser is set up you may be shown a message that “the
information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrytpted connection and
could easily be read by a third party”. This is due to the fact that the site
uses a combination of secure and unsecure pages. All pages that are capturing
and transmitting sensitive information such as your credit card details are
encrypted as signified by a padlock icon in the status bar (see example below) or the address bar of your web browser.
All credit card transactions are processed via the EWAY
e-commerce gateway. EWAY transmits credit card transactions safely over the
Internet directly to banks for real-time authorisation. We use EWAY's payment
gateway which use the highest form of encryption on their servers, SSL 128 bit.

details are not stored anywhere on the internet or in our database

see the credit card details except only the merchant's bank ID

strong encryption (1,024-bit RSA & 128-bit RC4) provided by a Trusted
Root Certificate Authority - Comodo

SSL-enabled web browser on any computing platform
- Response
from the bank sent securely to the consumer's browser
- No
subscription to the service required
Customer credit card details are encrypted before they are
sent over the Internet directly to our banking institution. Consequently, not
even our staff at The Organiser Shop will ever be able to see or record your
credit card details. Therefore customers can feel confident knowing your
transactions are being dealt with in the most secure environment available!
